Two Moon
Vineyard is perched upon a terraced mountain slope nearly 1700’
feet above the valley floor and produces a wine of remarkable depth
and complexity. Stressed vines and minimally irrigated in gravelly
soil account for the intense fruit flavors and subtle earthy
qualities that set this merlot apart from other lowland specimens
of the varietal.
Heady aromas
of creamy vanilla and dusty dark fruit segue into ripe layered
fruit flavors of blackcurrant and wild cherry. The wine’s
distinctive structure—fragrant nose, deep luscious flavors and
seamless tannic finish—make it the ideal companion for roast duck,
filet mignon, or pasta Bolognese.
