The 2006
vintage opens with a slight herbaceous nose that leads into hints
of leather and tobacco. To fully appreciate this full bodied wine
decant for an hour or more. You will not be disappointed. The dark
cherry and cedar envelope nose and mouth followed by wonderfully
balanced tannins that hint at black tea. A wine dedicated to those
who appreciate a full bodied, food friendly character. We recommend
a pairing of a brisk winters evening, a heavy stew and crackling
fire.
